Fraudulent email

A fraudulent email is circulating that may be attempting to portray itself as originating from Capital Credit Union and asking you to confirm account information. Please know that Capital Credit Union does not send emails with a link asking to verify your account information.

The scam email may look something like this:

Dear Customer,

Due to concern for integrity and safety of Capital Credit Union we issued this verification notice.

Our records indicate that your online banking hasn’t been updated as a part of our regular account maintenance. Our new SSL servers check each account for activity and your information has been randomly chosen for verification. Capital Credit Union strives to serve their customers with better and secure banking service.

Notification: Failure to verify your account may result in account limitation on our portal.
