BISMARCK, N.D. (Jan. 17, 2017) – Capital Credit Union is now accepting applications from high school seniors or college students for its Howard J. Snortland academic scholarships. The credit union will award seven $1,000 scholarships to applicants who are primary account holders of their Capital Credit Union membership. The scholarship may be used at any North Dakota or Minnesota college, university or technical school during the 2017–18 school year.
Interested applicants can learn more and apply online at www.capcu.org/scholarship. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit their completed application by Friday, Feb. 17.
Capital Credit Union first offered the Howard J. Snortland academic scholarship in 1996. Since that time, the credit union has awarded $94,500 in scholarship dollars to its members pursuing higher education.
